Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

Cave goblins

I know these miniatures had a different name in Games Workshop’s Middle Earth game, but I no longer remember what it was.

Like the dwarf model I painted a couple of weeks ago, these guys were done entirely using regular acrylic paints. Unlike the dwarf these are metal models, but I enjoyed painting them all the same. I kept the basing material dark and added the neon tufts from Gamers Grass, which I am coming to like more and more. I may have overdone the tuft sizes on some of these bases, though!

I think it might have been “Moria Goblins” but am not sure!

I’m not sure either, you could be right, I thought they had some sort of backstabbing ability that was reflected in their name, but I really don’t recall.

These look really nice! For some reason, I want to say the bottom lot of goblins are called Moria goblin prowlers but I might be wrong on that. I don’t think GW keeps them regularly in-stock anymore and they’re more of a Made to Order item every so often.
