Half-Life retrospective

It’s been 25 years since Half-Life was released and changed people’s perceptions of what a first-person shooter game could be. To mark the occasion Valve have released a documentary of just over an hour, featuring interviews of the game’s designers.

If you enjoyed the game back in the day, or played a more modern re-creation like Black Mesa, this video is worth the watch. Should you be unsatisfied with one hour of Half-Life, there’s also a two-hour documentary about the 16-year Black Mesa project, essentially a remastered version of the original Half-Life.
