Army builder for SAGA: Age of Magic

Age of Magic is my favourite tabletop game to play at this time. For me it has the right mix of accessibility, playability, and solid rules that keep things moving.

So I was pleased to see that someone has created an Age of Magic army builder as a side project. The presentation is bare bones, but what you need is all there in front of you:

I was happy to see this since Age of Magic has a few nuances to building an army that are good to keep track of. The army builder here has one or two side issues (if you get a lieutenant as a freebie along with a unit of warriors, then delete the warriors, you get to keep a free lieutenant) these don’t affect the basic utility of the site.

Also with many of the Age of Magic factions having a broad range of options, the selector makes working things out much easier.

If you’re playing Age of Magic, you should find this a useful tool. If you’re interested in Age of Magic but aren’t sure whether your existing collection fits the lists, this is useful too. If you’re in the second camp you may also enjoy my previous guides to each of the factions:

Masters of the Underearth

Lords of the Wild

The Horde

The Great Kingdoms

Happy gaming!

Can’t say I have seen this game. Might certainly be worth a look.
