This trio of miniatures is based on the characters as they appear in the video games, rather than the show. These miniatures are part of a small range from Monster Fight Club. I hadn’t previously heard of this company, but when I saw these models on the shelf at my LGS I had to pick them up.
I painted them up using the Two Thin Coasts range, which worked fine.
The models themself are made of a semi-soft plastic (is that a thing?). So details can get a bit spongy, especially the hands. Also mould lines are tricky to remove, reminding me of the original Bones material. Fortunately the material for these miniatures is not hydrophobic.
The rocks Geralt is standing on are part of his model, and for basing I used some of Geek Gaming Scenics’ Battle Ready range.
So why did I pick these models up? I have never played the video games or read the books. However my mother is a big fan of the Witcher TV show, and Christmas is coming. Hopefully she likes them, and they will take a place in the cabinet next to the Fellowship of the Ring models from 4 years ago.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Nice minis, Dave! 🙂 Have a great Christmas!

These came out great and capture the characters in the video games perfectly. I’m glad to see that your Mom loved her gift as well!
