As I got towards the last of my miniatures, I started to paint with contrast paints far more. I ended up buying a set of brushes to use just with contrast paints. Now they are on Kickstarter, which would make them easier to get.
This is a different mix to the set I bought, which didn’t have any double-ups in brush size. This set lacks the size 4, 5, and 6 brush that I have – and I found the size 4 to be great for contrast!
Mine are below in their natural environment, the tube lid makes a handy container on the paint table.
While it is a different selection of brushes, I found these great for applying contrast paint or washes. I used the size 0 and lower for small work with acrylic, and they worked fine for that paint too.
If you’re interest you can check out the Wolf Bristle Brushes Kickstarter page.
Tempting, since the range of brushes are the ones I use most, and having them in Australia will minimise the shipping cost. I don’t have any use for the STL files, and would probably never use the PDF’s, so not sure… if the dice were a stretch goal (not an add-on) I’d back now.

The Australian source makes it tempting, but I must admit I liked having the size 3,4 and 5 brushes to use and I might just pick up one of the original sets from my LGS instead.
