Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

A titan in corporate colours

The Midwinter titan build continues, and this episode shows Guy using power tools to add battle damage to the titan’s armour panels – after practising the varying effects of these tool on the many resin off-cuts he has left over.

After this, he test paints a panel in a ‘Midwinter’ style, copying the black and ice blue colours of the channel logo.

The titan build has been interesting mainly to see not just how much these Forgeworld resin models cost, but how expensive they are to build in terms of the tools and equipment you need to do the job properly. It’s like having a whole new hobby next to your existing painting and modelling hobby. Kind of like 3D printing, now that I think about it!
