This old metal model comes from reaper miniatures. as with a lot of the models on my final tray, I don’t recall why I picked it up. I had a large Vampire Counts army back in the day, but necromancers were never an integral part of that army, being so much weaker than the vampires that could be taken instead.
This was a change to my previous underpainted models, as I used highly thinned regular acrylics rather than just Contrast Paints. The red stayed thicker than I wanted, and I should probably get a nice bottle of acrylic medium rather than rely on water in the future.
For the cloak I used Sotek Green which went far more naturally over the underpainted surface than the red. Still, I happy with how this new technique is progressing!
Very nice, Dave! 🙂 I really like the cloak!
