After spending too long looking at this figure I have finally painted it using a mix of contrast and regular acrylics:
The yellow and blue paints are both new to my collection – a pair of Scale 75 paints I picked up to test the range. My verdict is that I like them, especially the yellow. They do require more time on the vortex mixer than Vallejo though.
His yellow knee pad has a very old waterslide transfer on it – one that came with an epic Eldar titan I would have bought around 1994. Still good though. I used some Geek Gaming basing material and then added an alien turquoise tuft from Gamers Grass since he’s standing on the ground, but he’s not standing on Earth.
Great work Dave. Eldar are a favourite of mine!
