Cave goblin elites

I used to know what these models were called, but I no longer have any memory of this place. The previous goblins are called prowlers (thanks, Kuribo!). These goblins are also from the Misty Mountains force and are the well-armoured kind of goblin:

This is a drummer pair and I think a rank and file model. I was once again generous with the neon basing tufts because I enjoy the contrast with the dark bases. Speaking of contrast these were painted without using any Contrast paints at all – I can still do it!

Nice work again Dave! I’ve got those models myself still in blister for when I get back to my Moria army, but I can’t remember what they’re called either! 😀

I am shocked at how quickly (a decade and a bit) I forgot all these different unit names!

I looked these up and they’re called Gundabad Blackshields Command and all three of these go together. I think they’re probably “Command” or hero units in MESBG. Either way, they look very nice!

Another name I could never have remembered, although I have more of these under the house, and the last time I looked at them I was wondering why I painted the shields so dark – now I know!

Glad to be of assistance and the shields were a clue that we both missed, I’d say!
