Explore fantasy art: Alex Konstad

Alex Konstad produces some interesting work across a range of fantasy and science fiction worlds, as well as things too weird for a single genre description. I’ve selected some pieces to share here, and you can check out his ArtStation page for more.

Obliskura by Alex Konstad

There’s something about a mask, even a triangular mask, that just appeals.

Forest Spirit by Alex Konstad

This bird spirit shines out in contrast to its dark surroundings. Best not to look too long at that face though.

Sage of Fables by Alex Konstad

This happy looking lion was illustrated for Magic the Gathering. A lion with a mane of leaves? Okay then.

The silken sword by Alex Konstad

This masked and richly dressed character wields a sword that was made for business.

The Gardens Herald by Alex Konstad

This one is my favourite of the selection, illustrated in a style that reminds me of Hieronymus Bosch.

There’s plenty more to see at Alex Konstad’s ArtStation page.
