Kamila Szutenberg posts quite a few sketches to her ArtStation page… many of which look as good to me as finished art. Kamila’s art often features landscapes, but there’s some great individual characters here too. I thought I would share some of my favourites with you here.
I’m not aware that she ever illustrated the rest of the deck, but that’s one Tarot card down at least!
This one was illustrated for a Warhammer 40,000 videogame – I’m not sure which one. However it does a great job of communicating the setting.
This character stands in a wasteland, and the greens and reds on her clothings make her seem bright against the dull background colours.
I made up the title, as like many of the artworks on her page, this one is simply named after the date it was posted.
Here a trio of figures ride through a marshland towards distant spires.
You can see more art like this at Kamila Szutenberg’s ArtStation page.
Some very nice work there, Dave, so thanks for sharing! 🙂 My wife approves of the Eight of Swords!

It would be great if she did the rest of the deck too!

That final pix, Onwards, is fantastic. Do you know, was it attached to anything in particular or just something she drew up?

It seems to be something she did for an art challenge, it’s another one where I made up the same.

I like the dark and smoky textures and mood in her work. She could do a mean vampire, I’d imagine!
