SAGA Norman warriors 2

The second 8 of my 16 Norman Warriors with spear and shield are now done. As with the first batch, I used the decidedly ahistorical Bretonnian waterslide transfers for their shields.

I’m still surprised at how well these transfers work, being over 25 years old.

The final batch of 8 Norman infantry are intended as Hearthguard rather than Warriors. For some reason the last 8 have a black undercoat so I will be using acrylics rather than Contrast paints on those.

Very nice, Dave! I like the shields, ahistoric or not! 🙂

I agree with everyone else. The shield designs look great and these are cool little sculpts. Its great to see you finish another batch of them!
