Painting terrain with Midwinter Minis

There’s a new short video from Midwinter Minis on YouTube about painting terrain quickly – and without using any paint brushes. In this video Guy uses rattle cans, some home-made dip wash, and pieces of sponge to get the job done on some terrain sprues he has laying around.

He uses this on sci-fi terrain, which is probably where this technique works best.

I feel like sponges are an overlooked tool for painting and always glad to see them get a little more love.

Yeah, I saw this video and I should probably give it a go for the mountains of industrial-themed MDF terrain I have sitting on shelves behind me.
