Cursed City coming…soon

Games Workshop have revealed that the highly anticipated Warhammer Quest: Cursed City set will be going up for pre-order on 3 April. Here’s a reminder of the contents:

Along with this comes the news that pre-order copies will be limited to one per customer. I know I’m not the only one who was contemplating picking up two sets. I will console myself with the knowledge that despite Blood Bowl Season 2 selling out almost immediately, I can still walk into my LGS today (well, not today today – lockdown) and pick up a set.

For now I will be keeping my finger primed and ready to order. I have painted up an allowance of 13 – which isn’t enough for the Cursed City models and means this box will stay in the wrapping until I have completed my backlog, and if that doesn’t encourage me to paint, nothing will!

It looks like a great set, but I think I will give it a miss or just ebay for a few choice bits. I was dead set on ordering and then I realised I have only just finished painting my Silver Tower & Blackstone Fortress sets both of which are unplayed with yet! I will have to play at least one of these before buying yet another Quest style game.

The time lag between buying these games and getting all the models painted (and not wanting to play until they are all painted) tends to limit my playing time too!
