I don’t normally do this, but something about seeing the Hobby Bingo cards this year made me decide to participate. The main one doing the rounds at the moment is from Games Workshop, courtesy of the latest issue of White Dwarf.
This doesn’t quite suit my needs and intentions, so I recreated it in PowerPoint and made a few changes to come up with this:
As I complete the various boxes, I will simply remove the fill from the shapes, to gradually reveal the classic Emperor vs Horus art underneath. Just like buying a bag of peanuts at the pub! Okay, revealing my age with that reference, no doubt!
Since I’ve gotten off to a good start already this year, my current card looks like this:
I counted the larger terrain piece as my centrepiece model for this card. Not every update is going to clear a card, but when they do, I’ll have an updated card image along with the post.
Also if you like the idea of creating your own cards here’s my PowerPoint file. You might even be able to get the shapes lined up properly!
Love the hobby card. I too remember the peanut pictures in the pub (just). I swear the landlord kept refilling it…

You’re making good progress for the year considering it is still January. 🙂

I had some leave at the start of January and hit the painting hard!
