It’s always satisfying to complete models, and keeping a photographic record via a blog, Instagram, or similar is a great way to keep those reminders in your face.
A few months ago I had this:
Now I have this:
Attaching those shattered dominion bases to my Warhammer Quest models certainly freed up more space that I had thought.
This tray totals 114 miniatures, although 49 of those were painted up as board game pieces for use in Blood Rage.
With this fifth tray complete I have gone from over 1,000 unpainted models at the start of 2019 to over 500 models left now. At the start of this I estimated 8 trays would be enough, but it looks like 10 will be my magic number.
Still, I have passed the halfway mark and it feels good!
Great job!
And bases are separate painting jobs?

Some can be painted with the models already on, but others get done separately, so that even when you have finished the mode, you’re not done yet!

I don’t know, sounds like a lot of work to me…

I find I have to remind myself that a good base makes a model look so much better, rather than think about the time it adds to getting the model done.
