From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.
Were getting towards the end of the eighth year of Scent of a Gamer now, so there’s plenty of history.
These days in terms of my miniatures I am fully committed to the way of the tray.
It wasn’t always so. I went through several iterations before coming up with my tray system. This was the first.
Posted way back in 2013, my approach to the tray was simply this:
This showed off what I was working on at the time, and also my old dry palette that doubled as a tray – it’s long gone now.
The point of this post is that it’s okay to iterate, and to reach the right answer for you over time. Regardless of whether that is miniatures or anything else.
I think I’ve hit on the right method for me now, but who knows, that could change too. Actually it will change – once I have painted my current collection I will surely take a very different approach. I have no idea what that will be.
With eight years behind it, this blog is a pleasing log of my hobby progress (among other things!). That part has a certain value to me, in terms of reminding me about progress I’ve made over the years.
This blog might not last another 8 years (I currently have no plans to stop!) but it’s nice to have a digital record of the hobby, even if it’s not fully complete.
