Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

Warhammer Quest: lune familiars

Lune familiars is my name for them, I presume they have their own name in the game.

The shading I gave their yellow half-moon faces didn’t really come through, but it’s there, I promise! As with the other Warhammer Quest familiars I have one on a dungeon base, and the other on a shattered dominion base. These are each carrying the head of a warrior of Sigmar.

This hero shows the relative scale of the familiars, they really are quite small. Maybe I should have painted their faces in a blue-grey though. Now they just look like bananas.

This pair marks the completion of my 2016 Warhammer Quest collection, but I still have unpainted models from the 1994 edition. I will get to those another tray.

Congrats on finishing the Silver Tower minis. That is an accomplishment worth celebrating I would say!

Thanks! I think I will make sure to get the last Warhammer Quest 1994 models on the next tray – first I have to find them though!

I think the yellow works well. I like that this is a throwback to the Familiars from Realms of Chaos.
