Once upon a Wednesday: Treasure!
I picked up some piles of treasure for Christmas 2017 and had them painted shortly after New Year’s.
The original article captures this, but it remains the exception. miniatures, whether terrain or otherwise, can spend quite some time waiting to be painted. Decades in some cases.
However as I work through the backlog, the prospect that painting miniatures within weeks of purchase could become the norm rather than the exception is part of my motivation to keep going.

I find that painting as often as I can, even if it’s only for 20 or 30 minutes, is a big help
