Once upon a Wednesday: making plastic miniatures

In 2015 I posted a YouTube video put up UK company Renedra, showing some work on tooling for a box of Perry plastic cavalry.

It’s only recently that I have started posting YouTube videos more regularly, and it’s not a regret exactly, but there’s more I could have posted.

These days there are a lot of creators posting some informative and encouraging videos about painting miniatures.

Behind the scenes videos like the one I posted in 2015 are interesting, but not necessarily inspiring. These days I am more likely to post a ‘how to’ or a ‘what I did’ video.

In some ways YouTube might seem antithetical to blogging, being focused around a different medium than writing. These days I am finding plenty of videos that encourage a post or else match up perfectly with something I wanted to post.

The takeaway of this Once upon a Wednesday is that I’ll be posting more YouTube videos in the future!

There is some very good stuff on You Tube but then there is even more that I can’t watch.

I’m enjoying 40k in 40 mins from Play on Tabletop a lot at the moment.
