Warhammer Quest: tome familiars

They may have a proper name, but I don’t remember what that is. Here are the two tome familiars from Warhammer Quest Silver Tower:

I used a mix of Contrast and basic acrylic paints on these models. The book pages are Gulliman Flesh to suggest the pages are made of human or animal skin.

One of the familiars is on a resin dungeon tile base from an Australian company called Back-2-base-ix. I picked some of these up about 10 years ago, and the company is still going strong, with plastic and MDF paint racks being their biggest sellers these days.

That’s two familiars down, and 6 more to go.
