Once upon a Wednesday: the ratskin

This model had been hanging around a long time. I had bought him to bolster my Van Saar gang during a Necromunda campaign in the late 90s. Years later, he still looked like this:

I decided to challenge myself to a one-hour paint time to complete this model. After that time, he looked like this:

Speed painting isn’t my preferred method, but I do like giving myself a defined space of time to complete an older model. 1 hour is as good a limit as any, and if it helps move more models like this from painted to unpainted, then so much the better.

I have many more neglected models to go!

    Great work for an hour, it shows you can really get a lot done with a miniature if you set yourself a goal and just crack on. I hope they bring back the ratskins at some point, maybe not in the exact same form as they used to be but some kind of underhive tribesmen would be great to see again.
