Blood Rage Ice troll

I took a ‘similar but different’ approach to the first of the Blood Rage monsters. Similar to the clans in that there’s one dominant shade – in this case grey. Different in that I picked out some details in other colours. For the ice troll that meant the rocks he is holding and standing on are a different shade of grey, plus I picked out his torcs in gold.

This idea came to me from photos of other board game miniatures online, where grey and gold were the only colours used.

I’ll take a similar approach to the other monsters in the game. In Blood Rage, any player can use a monster, so their dark green bases are kept neutral. In game their affiliation will be indicated by the plastic base rims that come with the game.
