Once upon a Wednesday: collecting Magic cards

People collect Magic: the Gathering cards for many reasons. Some like cards that won’t be reprinted, other like to take specific characters. I am one of those who collects cards illustrated by a specific artist. In my case, that artist is Nils Hamm.

I last showed off my card collection in 2016. Since then I have not only kept the collection up to date but also transferred the cards into a proper album, rather than having them in the plastic binder sleeves as before.

I think I will update the collection with a new article sooner rather than later.

Next month is father’s day here in Australia, and I’m thinking about getting a flash new album to show off the collection!

I only knew the Grave Titan from him, but the featured image is very nice as well the one featured on the Nils Hamm-post, the dryad one.
I myself collected back then preferably knights and a bit of soldiers as well as vampires, which led me to Black/White/Green midrange (Abzan).
Good thing you changed your plastic binder, don’t want to have those binder marks! I myself have my stuff in a Sorin-binder, and I dare not to look for those marks! 😀

as I can’t edit: I think I know quite some Nils Hamm-art as well, the researcher for example. And as an ample fan of the Innistrad blocks (because of Lovecraft) I should know many as well.

Yes I have tried a number of different binders over the years, looking for a type that doesn’t end up damaging the cards
