Genestealer paint schemes

One of the reasons it took me almost 10 years to paint my box of Space Hulk miniatures was the time it took to come up with a satisfying scheme for the genestealers that I felt I could comfortably paint.

Future players won’t have this issue thanks to this video from Midwinter Minis:

In this video, Guy goes through five separate paint schemes over 15 minutes. You can pick the one you like best, or else adapt one and change it up to make it your own.

I wish this had come out in 2009!

Awesome! Thanks for that. I have some Genestealers from ‘Space Crusade’, that I’ve been thinking of doing for a while. I like both the first and last options… so maybe I’ll try both.

Some of us have the original Space Hulk game somewhere in the loft and still haven’t painted anything! 🙂 I do like your ‘stealers though!

I like the green and the dark brown one, I have a jungle game (that I cannot remember the name of) with Scouts and Genestealers. These colours would work so much better than the standard purple and pink.
