Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

Plasma regulator 1

I picked up 4 of these plasma regulator terrain pieces by buying two copies of the same edition of Warhammer 40,000 Conquest.

Like the industrial pipes earlier this year, I’m not 100% in love with how the blue came out, but it’s suitable enough.

It looks better in black and white, like most things in Warhammer 40,000.

I have three more of these to do. I will try the blue again next, and then experiment with some different effects on the other two.

Looks great! I love Warhammer 40,000 terrain as it really brings the setting to life. The blues look nice to me. I’d be tempted to give the terrain a bit of weathering and even rust if that fits your vision of 40k. I think even just a bit of Nuln Oil mixed with Agrax Earthshade in the recesses would enhance the terrain further if you’ve got the time and desire 🙂

I wanted to leave rust off the first two, but I like the idea of more shading, thanks!

You’re very welcome and I can totally understand that about rust! It can really change the look and feel of something if you’re not careful.
