Four ways to paint stone walls

I know I am guilty of this – painting my stone walls in the same hue. A bit of variation can go a long way though, and this video from Zorpazorp takes you through some ways of painting stone walls for castle walls or dungeons.

Fun fact: the craft paints used for the lighter stone hues in the first tutorial are the same brand as the craft paint I used on the Bones dragon (note the monocolour stone on its base!) and industrial pipes. 4 for $10 when I picked them up, it might be time to get some more.

This is timely, I’m about to paint some scenery with a fair few walls. I’m a little constrained by pallette but the techniques here will be a big help, Thanks!

This is great stuff, thank you for sharing it. I’m going to have to give these a try at some point.
