Bones: warrior women

With the big dragon painted, I have returned to scale of the latest Bones update of five warrior women.

Ths is quite a varied bunch, unified only by being female figures, really. As a result I made no attempt to connect the models with any theme. They don’t have the same hair, armour, or dominant clothing colours.

The one at the back is probably my favourite, she has a bit of a red Sonja vibe, so I painted her hair accordingly.

I even painted eyes on one of the figures:

Eyes often elude me, since the humid conditions in Australia are not kind to putting tiny amounts of paint on a brush. But every so often it comes off, which is nice.

Nicely done! Eyes bothered me for a long time too… now I use a fine brush with some white, and then dot in the centre with some paint on the end of a large pin. (A nail should work too)

Looking good mate, I have got to the point where I don’t do eyes unless they are sculpted on and really visible.
