Tray 3 complete

I’ve finished up another 128 models to complete my third tray of models. In November 2019 it looked like this:

Now it’s looking like this:

The white and black have been replaced with glorious colour. What will be on the next tray? Find out tomorrow!

For those who haven’t been following, I have set myself a target of painting all unpainted models in my collection, to the point where all models I have owned for more than 6 months are painted. For every 8 models I paint, I allow myself to buy a new one. After all the pile won’t be reduced if I keep adding to it!

With this tray complete, I have 616 unpainted models still to go.

Very impressive Dave and I am so pleased you chose to reward yourself by buying a new figure and not having a pint instead. At the rate you are going I dread to think what state you could have been in otherwise! 😉 Looking forward to the next batch.

Nice job! You’ve really been sticking to this way of doing things and it seems to be working for you.

Only “5” more trays to go! 😀

Excellent progress! I wish I had your resolve with getting my stuff done, but at least I’m fully on board with non-zero days! 🙂 Well done!

Fantastic work once again – and kudos on keeping the focus so well. I’m sort-of trying to use my desk as an erzatz tray and (almost) only working on the part-painted models cluttering my desk space, so these posts are always a good motivator for me!

Wow, that’s an impressive work rate! I love your idea to only buy one miniature for every eight you paint.

Thanks! This eight to one rule has worked out well for me so far.
