Once upon a Wednesday: Blood Bowl Chaos Dwarfs
Chaos Dwarfs have long been my favourite Blood Bowl team. I like the disparity of the powerful Bull Centaurs with terrible Agility, the stout chaos dwarf blockers and the forgettable Hobgoblins. There’s a balance to this team that appeals to me.
The team above were completed in 2013. In the blog’s first year I had plenty to learn about photography. I can see plenty I would have done differently – including not photographing the finished models on a yellow towel – but overall I’m happy with how these little guys came out.

I do like the look of those Chaos dwarves (the big hats, the beards, the shoulderpads) and you did a really nice job on them – hopefully as and when they bring them back to Blood Bowl they go with that kind of look for them again. On the other hand it’d be nice to see something more like the (far more staid and serious) Legion of Azgorh either for AoS or perhaps as part of the WHFB/”Old World” project when it arrives (Kislev vs Chaos Dwarves starter set? Sign me up!)
