Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

Flamers complete

It took some time, but I have now finished the bases for the 12 flamers, and so now they are truly complete:

I took some inspiration from Louise Sugden in my approach to the bases. The photo doesn’t quite show the full effect. Quarantine means I have less access to the various surfaces in the house than I used to (the horror!) and so I had to take these images outside, where the natural light washes out the bases.

While I can’t claim to have replicated Louise’s style perfectly, I like how they came out. This is a technique I will use on later models for sure.

Looking good, Dave. A kind of mystical OSL-ish effect!
