Blackstone Fortress: Escalation complete

With the bases all done, I can call this boxed set complete:

This is getting towards where I ultimately want to be with my miniatures collection. I bought these in September 2019 and finished them in April 2020. Not quite six months, but getting close to it.

For those who haven’t followed the blog closely, my ultimate goal with miniatures is to have painted all miniatures I have owned for 6 months or more. I’m 2-3 years from achieving that goal, but still on track!

As Skarloc says, they do look very good! I do like the bases – I wasn’t expecting those colours at all, but I think they look really good! 🙂

Congrats for finishing the box! That’s a fine looking collection of miniatures, both the sculpts and your paintwork. I like the sickly skin on the cultists, and the bases are really cool, their bold colors contrast nicely with the more muted models.

Great stuff again, and those bases really look the part. I’m loving seeing all of these completed teams, armies, boxed game sets…
