Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

Foul Blightspawn painted

This is the first of (so far) two additional Plague Marines which I have picked up on the cover of Warhammer 40,000 Conquest. I haven’t been buying every issue, but have picked up the odd one here or there, if I felt the contents would fit in with my existing collection.

This one especially suits the zone mortalis tiles I painted up recently.

The figures isn’t much larger than a normal plague marine (if that’s the right word for it) so he’s one one of the smaller bases. His equipment makes him far bulkier. He’s ready now to join the ranks of the plague bringers!

What does “picked up on the cover of WH40K Conquest” mean? Is it a magazine with the figure included?

Exactly right, it’s one of those ‘collect all 78 editions’ kind of thing that comes in newsagents, but luckily you don’t actually have to buy all the issues in this case!

Maybe they’d have more success if they created a sugary sweet breakfast cereal and included a new “prize” in it every month πŸ™‚
