Otherworld Hearthguard complete

I took a similar but different painting route when completing the Hearthguard. Like the warriors, I gave them a ghostly paint over. However with these models I armed them with swords rather than spears, and used a glowy effect similar to the one I did on Aekold Helbrass.

Using black rather than blue gave me a contrast between the ghosts and their weapons.

Method and paints:

The bodies were simply painted with Black Templar over a white undercoat and then drybrushed with white

Next, the swords received their glowy treatment

Finally the bases were painted using the Mystic Sands recipe from Xenus Minis.

Nice work! How are you planning to run them on the battlefield?

I think it will depend on the match up, but I like the idea of two units of 6, one supporting the general.
My army will be slow moving (since I have avoided all the winged options in this list!) so I figure they need to stand close and hit hard.
