Bones necromancer and friend

I painted a duo of Bones models recently; a necromancer and mummy, both from the original Bones Kickstarter.

They make for a contrasting pair, with the necromancer in rather gaudy colours compared with the dusty mummy who just looks irritated at being woken up.

The ruin terrain piece which I used here and in many of my model shots is actually known as the Necromancer’s Tower, so in this case it fits perfectly.

I really like that mummy both the model and how you painted it. One day I’m going to have to pick up some bones mini’s.

I think it’s definitely a good idea to pick up a group of them to paint at first. They do require a slightly different approach to other materials.
