Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

A wizard, an executioner and a cowboy

…walk into a bar. You can’t fault the Bones range for a lack of variety. These three latest models to be painted all hail from the original Bones kickstarter – which I may completely paint within 10 years of receiving.

Each one is on a different base. The cowboy stands on the wooden planks of a saloon. The executioner stands on stained brick. The necromancer stands on a more ghostly looking base, which I am rather happy with.

I’ve put the tutorial image below. There’s a YouTube video, but I found the image was enough for me. I like this effect and will use it again.

Actually, now I read the tutorial again, I put the Screamer Pink on before the Temple Guard Blue. Next time, I’ll have the image in front of me when I paint!

Thanks, I’m definitely going to do more of these over the next few months.
