Signature Spellbook: Gideon announced
After his heroic death in War of the Spark, Wizards have announced that Gideon of the gatewatch will be the second character to receive a Signature Spellbook.
It’s clear from the art they are using this as a way to send off the character whose death affected many fans.
The other spells in this set have been chosen to represent the character Gideon was, and also the way he was viewed by others.
Each spellbook box contains the above cards, and additionally has one of the cards in foil.
I expect a lot of fans of the character will want this set for the art alone.
Scent of a Gamer 
I really don’t know what to think of these spellbooks. I wasn’t a fan of the jace one, even while really appreciating how it dropped the price of mystical tutor. None of these cards I’m in the market for at the moment so I don’t know if any of them will drop or rise. I’ll probably just pass

It’s not something that appeals to me, either. Although I like that it’s almost all new art.
