Dungeon in a box

Tenfold Dungeon is a Kickstarter project that caught my eye with its original take on gaming environments.

Most dungeons or other environments come in boxes, and are laid out flat for gameplay. The Tenfold Dungeon is a box filled with other boxes. Take these out, and you have a dungeon ready for set up and play in a three dimensional environment. I like this original take.

Each dungeon comes with a set of clip on doors, and some scenic effects, such as torches for your dungeon walls. If the project goes over its initial target, more designs will be made available.

If this sounds interesting to you, then check out the Tenfold Dungeon project page on Kickstarter.

My first though was that surely someone has thought of this before, which I think is the mark of a clever idea!

I just glanced at the page, but I saw it was cardboard. I sure hope it is more sturdy than say, a monopoly box.

Other board games come in quite stiff boxes, and this looks like one of those.
