Scent of a Gamer

From the computer to the tabletop, this is all about games. Updated each week-end.

Bones update 30: a pair of ogres

My Bones 3 order included two ogres, which I’ve now painted

Bones ogres, painted 2018

I chose these because they each added something to my collection I didn’t have before; an armoured ogre chieftain and a ratty ogre witch. What collection would be complete without them?

The witch is actually holding a small goblin on the end of a leash, though the goblin itself can’t be seen in this image. The chieftain meanwhile, as torn off a dungeon door to use as a handy shield.

These models will be seen again next week-end, in my review of everything I painted this year, and how I felt things went with the tray and moving from a numerical target (such as last year’s 100 models) to an activity based target instead.

Nice work on this pair, Dave. I like the heavily rusted armour plates on the chieftain.

They’re great! She grosses me out so much. I just can’t paint her yet. Lol. I’ll have to get in a “gross” mood to paint her. Happy new year!
