Middle Earth miniatures: winter dwarfs 1

I’ve completed some neglected plastic models from Games Workshop’s Middle Earth range. I picked up a box of Dwarf warriors around 2010 but never did anything other than undercoat them.

I decided to give them a winter paint scheme, basically grey and leather with only a few splashes of colour here and there. To complete the look I mounted them on the Battle Ready Bases

Dwarf rangers, winter scheme

The bases and the colour scheme work fine together. In some cases the basing was a little awkward as the cloaks are the same level as the feet for several of these models, which made picking the right spot on the base a bit tricky.

Other than that it went fine and I expect I will paint the rest in a similar scheme.
