Another week, another speedpaint of a decades-old model. I’m enjoying this immensely, so thanks Azazel for the inspiration!
The latest model to feel my brush after oh so long is a Necromunda Ratskin model, these were hired guns in the original edition, though I’m not sure this one ever made it to the table.
Here’s the before pic:
And here he is some 49 minutes later. After going over time on the elf wizard I was happy to beat the 60 minute clock this time!
Necromunda Ratskin with shotgun, acquired circa 1996, painted 2018
The fantasy tower doesn’t quite fit the feel of this mode, but the industrial terrain is harder to reach right now.
Here are the paints used, a lot of browns went into this model, between the leather boots, ratskin cloak, hair, and gun stock.
You’re really kicking arse on this challenge – group shot at the end of the month?

Nicely done and so quickly too. That is quite the shotgun.

Nice job and fast too! It looks like the Ratskins have rat tails? Or is that just part of the hide? Pretty curious if/how they will remake those in the new Necromunda.

The tail is part of their rat pelt, yes.
