Now I just need to find the time to play Shadespire! These models were fun to paint, still a bit different from the regular GW models, and I think made for those who aren’t used to miniatures to assemble and use even unpainted.
If I had my time over I would have used green stuff along the joins, as there are several per figure. Also the attempted glowing effect on the bases didn’t quite come out how I wanted, but no doubt there are YouTube tutorials I can look up for attempt two.

Looking good there, mate!

These are easily my favourite of the new slayer models, I think the poses just appeal to me more than the standard rank and file. You’ve really done them justice too.

You need to green stuff some pants on those boys, haha! Nice looking models and I like the hair tones.

Horrible sculpts in my opinion, but your skintones are spot on. I also like the metals and hair colour. Not too orange and more realistic a hue. I must say the Atlantis Miniatures dwarves surpass GW offerings (sculpt wise, not price wise) and the Northstar dwarves are also more my cup of dwarven stout. That said they fit well in the ruined environment and I think you achieved a very nice scenic shot with these guys.

Thanks, my favourite GW dwarfs are still the old Lord of the Rings range.

Yes, the entire range is beautiful. I think they still continue it?

They do, but I think in Forgeworld resin.

I see, a sensible choice for a limited range of boutique miniatures.
