I enjoy dark fantasy art, and my most recent ArtStation discovery in that area is Pio Foks, or Piotr Foksowicz to uses his proper name. His gallery is a feast of hushed tones and sharp contrasts, of dreary winters that make you shiver and stark landscapes that stare back you.
Here are five of my favourites.
Deceiver
A winged demonic figure towers over its slaves in this illustration.
Neckbreaker
The name of the sword of of the wielder? I do not know.
Watchman
Someone has been firing arrows at him. He’s about to respond.
Forest
A gloomy winter’s forest scene.
Iron Age
There are a lot of different colours in this one, reds greens, purples and some yellow. All muted away and left to the ye to pick out.
See more at Pio Foks’ ArtStation page.
This is good stuff.
