Scent of a Gamer

Terrain update: treasure!

I received a couple of packs of Wizkids’ pre-undercoated model line. My dungeons need treasure, and these two packs provided!

One pack contained the four chests, which are really two chests which can be placed either opened or closed. The other pack contained the three treasure piles you see in front.

I painted these over the xmas-New Year period while visiting family, which gave me something fun to do without literally putting a ‘do not disturb’ sign over my head!

Terrain is something I want to paint plenty of in 2018, and that includes small pieces like these as well as the larger pieces.

Nice work. Bits of scatter are always useful.

Agreed, and also the pre-undercoated models that turned up last year have intrigued me but I don’t own any, so when I saw these on the rack it was an easy decision to pick them up.

Boardgame plastic/PVC (like Bones) or some other material?

It is like the harder board game plastic I’ve come across – not quite GW hard plastic though.

I’m not even playing D&D currently, but your pics make me want some of these. I’d probably paint more copper in the pile, to keep those greedy adventurers in check!
