Details are still to come but the project has been confirmed for August 2017. The teaser comes with one preview model, a very nice zombie dragon by Julie Guthrie.
I picked up two or three dragons in my Bones 3 pledge. Like other antipodean backers, I am still waiting for my models. While the first two Bones projects delivered on schedule or reasonably close, Bones 3 is over 6 months behind schedule, which is not ideal.
While other gamers I know won’t touch the stuff, I don’t mind working with the material at all, so I expect I will at least pick up a zombie dragon in the next Kickstarter.
Sadly, the shipping on Bones 3 was quite expensive as we were charged for individual air shipping from the US to AU, and then when they changed to bulk local distribution (yeah, still no ETA) it clearly saved them a ton of money that we’d already paid to which they said TS – so a little bitter about that.

Yes, I changed my pledge around in the manager a lot to avoid the worst of the shipping charges but they still made up around 25% of the value of my order. It will be interesting to see if the shipping changes this time around.

Considering that the charges for the average Zombicide “all-in”, or Monolith’s Conan, or Cthulhu Wars via locals have been a fraction of what Reaper charged, it’ll be very interesting. It’s not like any of those companies lost money on shipping to us, either, so Reaper must have just pocketed quite a healthy amount in savings drawn from what we paid them…

Shipping is always an issue. It was awesome the first time around with the flatrate, so I understand why they would charge the actual amount. Changing shipping and then not adjusting the price for customers is maybe a tad questionable.
I may have a look if I can get someone else who goes all in to order some stuff for me. So far I only want the Zombie Dragon and the Kobold Characters.
