MtG artists: Jamie Jones

Jaime Jones art was first seen on a single card in the Eventide set. Since then his art has appeared in almost every Magic set released, and with good reason. Several iconic images from recent blocks are his work.

Coralhelm Commander

This card appeared in the Rise of the Eldrazi set.

Fog

This card prevents all combat damage for a turn. Jaime Jones did a great job here of showing soldiers list in the mist, unable to find their way to battle.

Heliod, God of the Sun

jaimejones_heliod

Heliod is the chief god of Theros. Here we see him towering over the landscape, holding his signature spear.

Helvault

jaimejones_helvault

The Helvault is where Avacyn imprisons the demons she captures on Innistrad. For a time she was herself drawn into this prison.

Progenitus

jaimejones_progenitusThe god-beast of Alara is depicted here as being barely glimpsed in the distance. Can a beast be that huge, or was it just a trick of the light?
