Dungeon Saga: crowdfunding and conversation

Dungeon Saga is a project on Kickstarter right now, creating a new dungoneering board game. A group of heroes enter the dungeon to battle against the evil hordes of whatever is standing between them and their treasure.

Okay, I have heard this one before and so have you. One of the interesting things about this project is the conversation you get to have with the game’s designer. Jake Thornton is an active blogger and has dedicated a good part of his site to talking about this game, the creation of it, and the various modes of play that are available as the crowdfunding project continues.

This project was funded in seconds on Kickstarter and with a week to go, you should check it out. Once you have done that, head over to Quirkworthy for some conversation about the game’s development and have a look at the alpha rules.

The game is  set for delivery in August 2015, a realistic and refreshingly honest delivery date compared to certain other crowdfunding projects I could mention! Over the coming months you can expect the game’s development to continue, and for Jake to keep everyone informed via his blog.
