Salute painting winners

The Salute website has been updated with details of the 2014 painting contest winners, complete with a slideshow of the placing models across their 13 categories.

I chose my favourite three:

This saurus warrior by Steve Party won the fantasy painting category and best in show – excellent work here.

This Imperial Knight by Adam Skinner puts mine to shame. After looking at this one, while I won’t embarrass myself attempting to imitate that freehand, I think I’ll use gold rather than metal for the armour plate outlines.
